The rooms, location and breakfast were good, but the nightclub directly underneath made the noise horrible. Our bed vibrated with the music until 3 am. Don't expect to sleep without earplugs. Avoid.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and breakfast was great. The location is as good as it gets. We could hear music at night, but it barely bothered us. We definitely recommend it!

Set in a characterful historic building in central Valletta, King Charles Boutique Hotel felt calm and quietly luxurious. The rooms were beautifully finished, with plush bedding and modern comforts, and the hotel's elegant design made it feel like a retreat from the city. Staff were warm, discreet and attentive, with thoughtful touches throughout. It's well placed for exploring Valletta's culture, food and heritage, and the whole stay felt sophisticated and memorable.

We paid extra for a room advertised with a terrace, spa bath and jacuzzi, but were told we wouldn’t get that room. Staff flatly refused to put it right, even after we sent the screenshot they asked for. I’d emailed back in October to confirm and got no reply. When we called, the hotel sent us to the booking agent, and the agent sent us straight back to the hotel. We feel badly let down, and wouldn’t have booked here otherwise. This was a complete waste of time and spoiled the trip before we even arrived.
