The owner's tips made it easy to get around Malta, especially Valletta, and she was so friendly and helpful. I had a fantastic time in this beautiful, old and majestic house. Ten out of ten for me!

A very central spot in a beautiful old building. There's no breakfast, but you can boil water and pick something up from the shops. The woman looking after the place was kind. It was a little damp, which was the only downside.

The lovely woman who runs the place keeps stacks of brochures about things to do. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Valletta.

The lady was helpful and really nice, but the "apartment" was tiny. It had no fridge or kitchenette, and the bed was basically nonexistent: we slept on a camping mat laid over a wooden plank. It was spotlessly clean, though. There was a strong musty, moldy smell, and the only window looked onto a filthy courtyard with a wrecked car. No need for an alarm clock either, the neighboring church bells ring regularly every hour from 6:30 to 10:30 in the morning.
