Ruwts Valletta Central Maisonette

The location is near bars and restaurants, and the maisonette has WiFi, a TV, a good hairdryer, kitchen appliances, a good shower with plenty of hot water, a separate toilet, and a good washing machine and tumble dryer. The sofa bed, though, is uncomfortable. It's underground, and there are no windows or ventilation in the toilet. There are steps everywhere, inside and on the way to the maisonette, and the street was hard to find. The stairs inside make this unsuitable and unsafe for older people or young children. My friend and I are in our 60s, and she fell on the stairs from the TV area to the double bedroom, cutting her face and injuring her knee. Fortunately, she didn't need hospital treatment. There are more steps to the shower that are easy to miss. All the steps should have warning signs for safety. We stayed three nights and got back today, 9/12/25. If you're young and fit and want a fairly cheap, rustic place for a few nights, it might be fine. Personally, I'd have the place condemned.
