Valletta Dream Suites

We stayed in flat 6 for 15 days, and while the apartment had some good points, the management felt disorganised and unprofessional. I can't recommend it because we ended up feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, and there were too many problems to overlook. The location was good, the WiFi very fast, and there was decent storage and lift access. The sofa-bed and bed were comfortable. When it was open, the roof terrace had lovely views and sun-beds. We had to buy basic supplies ourselves, including hand soap, detergent and shampoo. A chunk was missing from one step in the communal stairwell, with no sign or warning tape, making it a trip hazard. The shower head holder was broken, which made it hard to position the shower in its small space without it falling. We also found two ant infestations: a used rag by the sink that hadn't been cleaned before we arrived was hosting a colony, then ants came through a small hole in the nearby wall a few days later. One gas hob kept clicking, with a visible spark. Joseph repeatedly asked us at the last minute to allow an apartment viewing, despite the rules for our stay. We said no because of safety and insurance concerns, but he called and pressed us to change our minds over and over during an 11 and a half minute call. When we asked about the guidelines, he got quite aggressive and said doing this was a "favour" to us.

My friend and I spent 15 days in flat 6. The roof terrace, when it was actually open, had great views and sunbeds; the beds were comfortable, and the WiFi was fast. Still, we wouldn't recommend staying here. There were ant problems, faulty appliances, and the managers seemed to do the bare minimum. Supplies were sparse, so we had to buy detergent, soap, shampoo, scissors and other basics. A stair in the communal stairwell had a missing chunk and was a trip hazard. The shower head was broken, and in the small shower it was hard to position without it falling and hitting you. Rain also leaked in through the bedroom window. We had two ant infestations: a dirty used rag by the kitchen sink was hosting a colony, and a few days later ants came out of a small hole in a nearby wall. One gas hob kept clicking and had a visible spark. Different team members came to deal with these problems, but the fixes were poor. They left ant poison scattered across the floor without cleaning it up, sealed the leaking shower with gel without checking it, and just switched the hob off and on again. Joseph only seemed to help reluctantly, and contacted us personally when he wanted a "favour". He had repeatedly asked us at the last minute to permit an apartment viewing they'd already arranged, even though that went against the rules for our stay. We refused for safety and insurance reasons, but he called and kept asking us to reconsider through an 11 and a half minute call. He got quite aggressive when we asked about the guidelines and insisted we were doing him a "favour".

The large rooftop terrace has an amazing view, and the place is clean, cozy and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. It's in a very good location. I'd book it, you won't regret it.

The beds were hard, and sound carried very easily around the doors, so we could see and hear the neighbours. The location is really good, and the roof terrace has a stunning view.
