The stargazing evening was a highlight for us. The astronomer was so enthusiastic and made it fun and memorable, and we also enjoyed the water activities at The Boat House. Our Ocean Villa felt private, cosy, and comfortable, with lovely sea views. The resort staff were kind and helpful, especially Voodish at reception. They made sorting out island activities, taxis, and our other plans easy and stress-free. A beautiful place to unwind in Mauritius.

We were less taken with the beach than we had expected, but the rest of The Oberoi felt unmistakably five-star. The service was warm, thoughtful, and attentive, and the rooms paired comfort with elegant furnishings and lots of care in the details. We also really enjoyed the dining, with excellent food and plenty of choice. The calm, personal feel of the hotel made such an impression that we’re considering other hotels in the brand for future trips. A rare mix of luxury and genuine hospitality.

The team at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Mauritius took so much care of the wedding arrangements that our family could enjoy the celebration without worrying about the logistics. They had been helping well before we arrived in Mauritius on February 8, 2026, and everything came together smoothly over the five days we stayed. Mr. Savio and Ms. Natasha from Housekeeping, along with Mr. Prashant from Food and Beverages, were especially attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. We came from India for my sister’s wedding on February 10, 2026. The celebrations began with a yacht engagement ceremony out at sea, then Haldi and Mehendi in the comfort of our villa, and finished with a stunning wedding that exceeded our expectations. The resort gave each occasion an elegant, warm, and exclusive atmosphere. The setting felt like paradise, with clear water and majestic mountains around us. I can never decide between a beach holiday and a mountain retreat, and this place gave us both. What started as a wedding trip turned into an extraordinary vacation against one of the most breathtaking backdrops we’ve seen. Those five days will stay with me and my family forever. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for luxury alongside natural beauty.

We came looking for a private resort stay and found it here. The outdoor areas felt secluded even with other guests around, and the rooms were very comfortable. Staff paid attention to what we needed without making us feel watched or interrupted. Thank you.

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were kind about helping us get around and explore more during the trip. Everyone seemed to know their role really well, and we were welcomed warmly as soon as we arrived. Such a great place to relax in the middle of a busy schedule, definitely recommended.
