We booked casa la siesta for our last night in Mauritius through an online booking site. On arrival, the management said the reservation had been cancelled. We hadn't received any notice, and the app still showed it as active, but they ignored that and demanded we pay again to stay. They literally kicked us to the curb. We were travelling with our two-year-old and two senior citizens, and they showed no concern. It felt like a scam, and we believe they were trying to cheat us out of our money.

The room wasn't suitable, and the customer service was very poor. Their services need an update. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The rooms are much too small. After 10 pm, there's nobody available to help you.

The food was nice, and it's a cozy place. You can walk to the beach in about 15 minutes or get to Super U in 10.

It wasn't too bad for a short start.
