The bay view from beside the dock was my favorite part. We could sit there with a drink at any time of day, and the lovely garden, kept watered by a friendly groundskeeper, smelled wonderful in the Mauritian heat. The location is lovely and affordable, with good parking, five spaces on a first-come basis. Inside, the apartment had excellent cooking facilities and a lockable safe. Staff were polite, professional, and trustworthy. A few cleaning details were off at check-in, including a smelly toilet, dusty corners, and too few cleaning supplies, but they were sorted the next morning without me having to ask. Absolutely charming!

There was construction on the "beach" while we were there in 03/2025, and the excavator made sitting on the balcony a bit disruptive. I'd suggest asking whether the work is still going on. The complex itself was okay, and our room and bathroom were both spacious and clean.

The place felt unwelcoming and unclean, and the owner's conduct made an already bad stay worse. He was rude in person and used a racist slur, blaming problems on “Indian guests” instead of accepting responsibility for issues with the property. That's unacceptable. Looking at other reviews, I also noticed what seemed like a pattern of rude replies to criticism rather than attempts to improve. For the high price, the basics and service were shockingly poor. There were no toiletries, the AC was extremely loud, and the badly designed shower flooded every time. I had a terrible experience in Grand Baie and strongly advise looking elsewhere. There are many more welcoming options. This one felt overpriced and unpleasant, so stay away.

The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the view was beautiful. Really good value for money.

From the balcony, the bay looked great, and the bed sheets and towels were clean. Wi-Fi routers were in every room, but the connection was poor and often failed on the balcony. It kept cutting out. The room was cleaned even though I had specifically asked them not to. Parking was available, though very tight. There was also a smell from what seemed like a spray bottle or something, and it lingered for a long time.
