Manoir de La Citadelle

This was one of my strangest hotel stays. We had to argue for far too long before they gave us the room we'd booked. The first room had glass bathroom walls, so people outside could see someone showering. The man who received us didn't seem to understand why two women would want to shower without being visible. The lady managing the place said we could have the booked room, but that she was staying in that area. We couldn't believe it. The photos showed a larger space with an open bathroom and a little cube where the manager slept, right next to the open bathtub and so on. We also had no key to lock any doors. After nearly an hour of arguing that we wanted the room we booked, we were told the only way to get it was to share it with the night manager. She didn't consider moving to any of the empty rooms.
