I've stayed at LePalmiste four times now, and I'll keep coming back. It's intimate and easy to find your way around, with friendly reception staff who'll help with anything. Poonam and Shiva are real professionals, and guests are lucky to have them from the start. The rooms are spacious, simply but tastefully furnished, and cleaned thoroughly every day. Bathrooms are clean and spacious too, with some renovations since my last stay in 2023. The whole hotel is clean and pleasant. If something in the room or bathroom bothers you, take a coffee or something stronger out to the balcony and listen to the birds in the beautiful garden. The birdsong is enchanting, and a great marketing ploy! Driving on the left may not be for you, but the wonderful driver Phagoo can take you anywhere and keep you completely safe. If your back hurts after too much beach time, Zoyah gives massages that quickly make you forget the pain. The restaurant has changed hugely for the better since my earlier stays. The food is delicious and varied, both European and local, and there's something for everyone. You can tell the chefs put a lot of heart into it. The dishes and drinks are all the better for the excellent service team. Sunil and Anhit deserve special recognition. These young Nepalese staff have won my mother's and my hearts, and I'm sure many others too. Their boss should be proud, they know how to look after guests perfectly. Thanks to people like them, we tourists feel at home, maybe even better. Ajay and Jean Phillipe, well done on your kind words and good management. Your staff deserve a bonus because they're the reason people will return and recommend this place. And dear guests, don't be stingy with tips, they really deserve them. Greetings from Poland, from Anita and Barbara.

The rooms look outdated and need renovation. Our sofa bed was old and crooked, the plastic bin had no lid and looked unattractive, and the room generally seemed poorly maintained. The bathroom looked like it had been cleaned in a hurry, and the bedroom electrical sockets looked damaged, which concerned me. We were on an all-inclusive package, but our names weren't on the list when we arrived. I understand this wasn't the security guard's fault, but I didn't appreciate being told to stand aside while he checked with Reception instead of being welcomed properly. Because of the coordination problem, we were asked to pay an extra fee to stay until dinner, which was frustrating and inconvenient. During our stay, we were repeatedly asked if we were all-inclusive whenever we ordered drinks. Even the Food & Beverage Manager questioned us twice. When we raised it, he said they hadn't received proper communication. That explanation was unacceptable. I work in hospitality and have never encountered such poor service and internal coordination. Management needs to improve communication with online booking agencies, set clear procedures, and find an effective way to identify all-inclusive guests. This was extremely disappointing and not the standard I'd expect from a resort and spa.

The resort had a lovely, relaxing atmosphere, and staying here was a real pleasure. The staff deserve the most praise, everyone was polite, courteous, and helpful. Special thanks to manager Jean Phillipe, who showed empathy and professionalism by arranging a much more comfortable room for us. It was a very kind gesture that made us feel special. We had a super stay, and I highly recommend the place to anyone looking for top-tier hospitality.

The hotel looks nice from outside, but I'm writing this while walking to the nearest ATM at 22:30, with my flight leaving at 8. The hotel takes card payments, but the tourist tax has to be paid in cash. Wow. Check-in was hard to make sense of. After a 13-hour flight, we showed our voucher, and the first thing they asked was why our car wasn't by the hotel. Sorry, what? We'd booked the car at the airport. We were given a “premium” room next to the open restaurant and party area. There's no way to sleep beside the “party area” until 23:00-24:00, while most activities on Mauritius start at

The staff were very friendly, the rooms clean, and there was lots of greenery around. The room was serviced daily, and the towels and bed sheets were clean. For a 7-10 day stay, three pools and one jacuzzi are enough. Dinner was great and different every night. Breakfast was a bit monotonous, with ham, eggs, cheese, and beans. The beach is in front of the hotel, but there isn't a direct beach view or access. You just go through a beach bar, and then it's a three-minute walk.
