Thundi Villa Guest House

We were very happy with our stay in the Deluxe Apartment at Thundi Villa. It was modern and clean, with a spacious room, desk, large wardrobe, and big bathroom. The open-air shower had no roof and a lovely view of a palm tree, such a great idea. There was always hot water. Breakfast at the nearby restaurant was very good. Hussain took care of us and helped with everything we asked, including laundry and arranging snorkeling trips to see turtles, manta rays, and a sandbank. He was kind, helpful, and understanding, and introduced us to his wonderful friends, the boat captain and the guide who took us to the sandbank and turtle spots. We wholeheartedly recommend Thundi Villa!

The beach was an easy two-minute walk from the villa, so we kept going back and forth to swim three to five times a day. The island is tiny, and you can cross it on foot in about ten minutes. Our room was cosy, very clean, and had an extremely comfortable bed, plus everything we needed. We especially loved the ten power sockets in one room, so handy if you're charging a lot of devices. The villa has three rooms, and ours had a private terrace and its own shower. Mubashir was the best host we've ever met. He organized everything, from the domestic flight from DRV to Maalhos to tours and guidance around the island. He was professional and genuinely hospitable, never intrusive but always there when we needed something. We stayed for six unforgettable days and can't thank him enough. We'll definitely come back, inshallah...

Quiet and clean, this villa was a lovely way to get an authentic local island experience. It has three rooms, so it works well for friends or family, and there's a living room where you can hang out together. The beach is a five-minute walk away, with a restaurant and both shops right next door. I loved the bathroom with the stars above your head. Definitely recommend it if you want to blend into island life.

The owner was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to help, even arranging excursions for me. The room felt cute, private, clean, and new, and the location was great, only a short walk to the jetty and nearby restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay here!
