Alila Kothaifaru Maldives, A Hyatt Resort

Food was the highlight for us, with fresh, flavorful meals and lots of choice at breakfast and dinner. The staff were kind and attentive throughout. We also loved the beautiful atoll and the sense of privacy in the villas. We'd definitely come back to stay here in the Maldives.

We still think about our honeymoon at Alila and hope to return. The staff made the service feel personal and professional, and all the activities were carefully organized. We tried every dining option and enjoyed them all. The Shack Lunch was a favorite, especially for its peaceful setting. We highly recommend the resort.

Food was a big part of what we looked forward to every day at Alila. My husband and I are particular about what we eat, and we loved the dining, right down to the croissants and shisha. The whole resort experience and service were wonderful too. Sandip from the Mirus bar stood out for his thoughtful, sincere care. We only met him on our last day, but that conversation was a lovely end to an already beautiful trip.

We had a lot of fun snorkeling around the island, with so many beautiful fish to see. The resort itself felt quiet and private. I counted around 80 villas, but there were rarely even 20 people at the main pool or restaurant at once. Our over-water ocean villa with its own pool was a favorite. We stayed a few nights on an all-inclusive basis, and it felt magical: stylish, new, luxurious, with lovely scenery, friendly staff, delicious food, and impeccable service. A proper fancy five-star experience.
