Niyama Private Islands Maldives

Our thakuru, Imthy, organized our week and took such good care of us. We were in great hands, and he seemed to know everything about the Maldives and the resort. During our five amazing nights at Niyama, we also had a surfing lesson with Cayle, tennis lessons with Patrick, a Discover Scuba day with Achuu and Emma, and yoga and Pilates with Jess Klein. The dive facilities were very professional. We loved Boni, the brilliant sommelier. He was so friendly and guided us to delicious bottles that were new to us, which we could take back to our room. All the staff were friendly and went to great lengths to make us happy. Thank you!

What stays with me most is how kind, attentive, friendly, and helpful the staff were. Everything was well organized and handled so smoothly. The food and drinks were all 15/10. Special thanks to Pasha, Imran (the best coconut man), Martin, and the others who made the trip so special. Niyama felt magical. The water was the bluest I’ve ever seen, the sand was powdery and soft, and every day felt like a dream. I’d never known a place could be this beautiful. If you’re able to visit, I definitely recommend it.

The kids’ club made our family stay especially enjoyable. It was well organized, safe, and full of fun things to do. Our children loved going every day, giving us time to relax and make more of the resort. The beaches were peaceful and stunning, with clear water and soft white sand. The resort combines luxury, comfort, and excellent service, and it’s very well designed for families. We’d gladly return and highly recommend it as one of the best family friendly resorts in the Maldives. There were mosquitoes everywhere, though, and spray was provided in the room.

The people made the biggest impression on us. Steven and his F&B team created some memorable evenings and even made us a wonderful Nasi Goreng, my late father’s favorite. Shanun, our butler, was quietly efficient and there whenever we needed him. Sigi and the bar team were fun and knew their stuff. The beach team were attentive, and Putu, Dewa, and their friends at breakfast always got our day off to a good start. Imran the coconut man was funny and well worth meeting. Sorry I can’t remember more names! We were thoroughly pampered from the moment we arrived. Niyama was a wonderful place and exceeded our expectations. Our beach villa was spacious and well designed. When we decided to stay a few days longer, we moved to a beach villa with a pool. The resort facilities were excellent, and we enjoyed all the restaurants. The whole holiday was fantastic. Service and attention to detail were outstanding, and it was hard to pour our own drinks at the beach or in the restaurants. The staff always seemed a step ahead.
