If you want to experience local island life in the Maldives, I'd recommend staying here. The islanders are friendly, and there's a PADI dive center on the island, along with plenty of activities and excursions. The staff were attentive and welcoming, the food was perfect, and the location was good. The island itself is one of the country's most beautiful, with a white beach and a huge lagoon of clear blue water around it.

We spent three nights here and would definitely return. The guesthouse is in a great spot, only about 100m from bikini beach, with friendly islanders, fast Wi-Fi, and good AC. We chose half board, which was worth it, and the food was great. Ahmed, if I've got the spelling right, and Solley were always ready to help. They took us snorkeling and swimming with sharks, showed us lovely spots, and we saw stingrays too. When the public ferry couldn't run on departure day because of engine trouble, they found us a speedboat back to the capital.

Ahmed helped us with everything we needed, and the place was very clean. The staff were incredibly friendly, and they arranged trips to beautiful local spots. Don't miss the whale shark trip :-) It felt like being at home, and I'm 100% sure the food here is the best on the island. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

The people who run this place made the trip for me. They don't just explain the island, they share stories that give you a feel for Maldivian culture. Ask for Mr Ahmed if you visit. The food was great, and snorkeling is just a few feet from the guesthouse. I had an amazing time, swimming with sharks, feeding stingrays, and looking for turtles. Staying here made my Maldives trip memorable, and honestly, this holiday will be hard to beat.
