If snorkeling is your thing, I recommend this hotel. It's right on the beach, with a shallow turquoise reef close by that's convenient for kids and adults alike. There's lots of small and medium-sized fish, and sometimes you can spot baby sharks early in the morning. The ocean view is amazing, and there are shaded spots between the hotel and beach where you can relax. The staff are friendly, the room was clean and maintained daily, and there was decent free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a glass bottle of water. Breakfast had a good variety each day, with à la carte lunch and dinner available on site. One downside: there were lots of mosquitoes in the restaurant, and I got bitten more than 10 times during my stay. You need to contact the hotel to book a round-trip speedboat to the island. From Male, it leaves from the south harbor near Marrbrown restaurant. We took GOMA 4 at 12pm. The boat also stops at the airport, as shown in the photo I uploaded.

The rooms were spotless, so relaxing into island life was easy. The excursions were organized really well and everything ran smoothly, without stress or risk. What stood out most was how much care the staff showed, especially the manager, Sifaz, who goes out of his way to make sure guests are comfortable and looked after. We had a wonderful stay at Thundi last October, and left with a very warm impression. The restaurant deserves a special mention. You won't find a better one on the island, and even if local food isn't your thing, there are always other options. Highly recommended for a cozy, welcoming stay in the Maldives.

We stayed just one night to see a local island before heading to a resort island. The hotel is right on the beach, about 60 minutes from Male by speedboat. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was nice and had lots of options. Lovely little hotel, and I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Faru cafe is attached to the guesthouse, and we loved the food there. Breakfast was free, and the half-board option was great value, with three courses and 34 main course options. We especially liked the curries and kotthu. My wife and I have just spent nine nights in this tranquil, friendly guesthouse. Our corner room on the second floor looked out over the house reef. Boonam and the team were fantastic throughout. Fulidhoo was our favorite of the three local islands we visited, and we'd highly recommend the island and this guesthouse. 😃

We fell asleep to the sound of the trees and waves, with wonderful sea views from our room. The hotel is right on Fulidhoo's beach, and the owners were welcoming and attentive. A wonderful place to stay.
