Sunny Suites Inn

The staff were very friendly and otherwise everything was great. I liked the room and its sea-view balcony, though there were a few stains on the sheets. The toilet was a bit small but manageable. There's no elevator, and the main door closes at 1 AM, which is useful to know. Excellent stay overall.

The room was decent and had a nice view, but getting help was difficult. Staff were rarely in the lobby, and another guest waited there for half an hour to check in. Usually you have to call. The first phone number posted in the lobby belongs to someone who no longer works there; the second reaches someone who lives nearby and can come over. They told me staff would be in the lobby at 6AM to arrange a taxi to the airport, but nobody was there when I arrived. When I called, they said nobody was around that day and I would have to find my own taxi.

The room was so small it wasn't even enough for one person, and the used water bottle in the room hadn't been replaced. I was also charged a very high price for the room quality and condition. Breakfast was included in my booking, but the Bangladeshi receptionist said I couldn't order because breakfast time had ended. Breakfast runs from 7-9, but nobody had told me. I reached reception at 9:05am and he refused to give me breakfast.

I especially liked the beach in front of our hotel and the sound of the waves. The room was nice and clean, and the staff were friendly and behaved very well. I liked this hotel a lot, and if I go to Maldives again, I'll definitely stay at Sunny Suites Inn.
