When I visit Male, this is a place worth staying. Manhattan hotel is a centrally located business hotel, unlike most resorts in Maldives. It’s clean and well maintained, and the rooms are fairly spacious for this type of hotel. They have the essentials, including toiletries, an ironing table, kettle, and locker, plus clean towels and bed linen. There’s a small balcony with a sea view, and the little restaurant serves food with a good range and taste.

The central location worked well for business, and it was peaceful too. My room was very spacious, and breakfast had a decent selection to start the day. From check-in onward, everything felt welcoming and smooth. A lot of that came down to the team. Gaurav, Rekha & Tamim were always nearby with genuine smiles and handled my requests promptly. Sujith and Indrajeeth took care of my commute, and a special mention to the Manager Mr Rijil. Manhattan Business Hotel struck a great balance of comfort, care, and professionalism. The staff really went the extra mile and made it feel like home. I’ll definitely be back!

The bedroom was spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the balcony views are beautiful 👌🏼. Room service was fine, about average for what I ordered. The bathroom was a letdown. It felt very run down, with cheap toilet paper, no hot water, and very weak shower pressure. The toilet seat was broken, and the stained towels didn’t feel remotely luxurious or suitable for a 4 star grade. I definitely wouldn’t choose to stay at this hotel again.

We stayed for 3 nights, my husband and I, to get to know Male and Maldivian culture before spending a week at an island resort. The included breakfast was excellent in both quality and value, with local and international dishes. We also had one dinner at the restaurant, which was quite good and well priced. The hotel had all the amenities we expected at a solid 4 star level. From the first greeting at reception, the staff were personable, cheerful, helpful, efficient, and professional. Our room was quiet, with firm beds that were kind to our backs, and food facilities were available. We couldn’t fault anything. Highly recommended for couples or individuals visiting for work or leisure.

The staff were great and very helpful, and the breakfast buffet was quite alright. They also provide complimentary airport transfer. I didn’t have much time to try the other facilities, but I’d definitely return. The Suite was great, though the Deluxe bathroom seemed a bit worn. The Deluxe also has a nice little balcony where you can relax and enjoy a tidy little view.
