Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa

The honeymoon garden plaque and complimentary photo shoot gave us lovely memories to take home. We also had welcome drinks, a couples’ 60-minute massage, snorkelling gear and life jackets, plus 30 minutes of paddleboard or kayak hire each day. There’s plenty to do, from water sports and excursions to snorkelling trips, though I found the activities a little expensive. Food-wise, you can choose from seven restaurants, and Masala Hut was my favourite. With meals and drinks costing a lot separately, I’d recommend the all-inclusive package. Our room was nicely prepared, and the staff welcomed us warmly. The bottle of alcohol in the room wasn’t suitable for us, but they replaced it with a non-alcoholic one. Fakhi was our contact throughout the stay and helped with all our questions. He even arranged a private beach table so I could surprise my new wife. The honeymoon sign wasn’t on the bed at first, but Fakhi decorated the room on our last night, which made it special for both of us. Everyone was amazing and well trained. Layaan, an apprentice at the anchorage restaurant, was friendly, helpful, easy to talk to, and very professional. His English was really good, and I hope he gets promoted because he deserves it. We had a great honeymoon and are grateful to all the staff for making the trip comfortable and memorable.

The only issue for us was the insects in the Overwater villa. Otherwise, the nature, ocean, atmosphere, food, and attentive staff all made for a perfect holiday. Breakfast at Feast was really good, and I’d suggest guests from Türkiye try dinner at Anchorage, where the food is quite similar to our own cuisine. The hotel also has Muslim staff who are very friendly. Thank you for everything 💐♥️

For our first Maldives trip, we spent a lot of time looking for a resort that would leave us with wonderful memories. We’re confident we chose well and would return to Sheraton. It’s luxurious, the staff are very friendly, and the food is delicious with generous portions across several restaurants. Don’t be put off by the false reviews saying otherwise about the food. The island is convenient to get around, with a lovely beach, and the resort is just 15 minutes from the airport by comfortable speedboat. We enjoyed the complimentary honeymoon services. The Bali massage at Spa Island was top level and left my mind and body feeling rebooted. Snorkelling is worth trying too, though the hotel charges extra for the tour. I’d advise buying an all-inclusive package, since food and drinks can otherwise add up quickly.

The overwater bungalows were wonderfully quiet and relaxing. From ours, we woke to open ocean views and could watch rays beneath the surface or reef sharks moving in the distance. Being so close to the water brought a real sense of calm. Getting to and from the island was smoothly arranged, and the staff made everything feel easy from the start. They were warm, cheerful, and professional in a way that felt natural. The same care showed in the food, which was excellent throughout, whether we ate casually or somewhere more refined. It was thoughtfully prepared and presented, and nothing felt rushed or overlooked. Service, meals, and transport all ran so smoothly that there was very little to think about. We relaxed, time seemed to slow down, and the stay ranks among the best resort experiences we’ve had anywhere. Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa set a high standard for us.
