Gulhi itself isn’t our favourite island, but we loved the atmosphere and the people at this hotel. The staff are genuinely lovely and sort out any problems. Breakfast was tasty, with a choice of local or continental food, and the room price felt fair for the conditions. Bikini beach is very close by.

The rooftop terrace is a lovely place to watch both sunset and sunrise, with a view over nearly the whole island. This beachside hotel made a perfect getaway for us. Our room was clean, spacious and nice, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. We were very happy with our stay and hope to come back.

We regretted waiting until our last evening to try the restaurant, the food was amazing. Breakfast was very good too, with local and continental choices. At Ilaa Beach we had a sea view room with a great view, plenty of space and a super-comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and gave us great service. They also let us check in early, which we really appreciated.

The rooftop was magical at night, a lovely spot to gaze at the stars. We had a beautiful sea view from our balcony, looking over different shades of turquoise, and caught a gorgeous sunset too. The room and toilet were clean, and the staff arranged a warm welcome. They’d decorated the bed with Pandan leaves and flowers, such a cute touch. Our mixed kohthu dinner was delicious and filling, with generous portions of beef, chicken, octopus, prawn and sausage. It was a little salty, but we enjoyed it. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The rooms are quite basic, but our balcony had a stunning sunset view. The staff were caring and helpful, and arranged some really nice tours for us. We definitely recommend staying here.
