Amazing View

I was travelling solo and met lots of lovely people at the guesthouse, on excursions, and at the beach desk. It was reassuring to be able to book excursions and watersports through the same organization. The guesthouse itself was clean, well equipped, and in a good location. I had a great time, and hope I can stay here again when I return to Thoddoo.

We had a really lovely time at Amazing View Guesthouse and would gladly return. The place was clean, well cared for, and everything felt well organized. It’s close to the beach, with fruit fields all around. Our room was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the shower had strong, reliable pressure. Breakfast was simple but tasty and enough to get the day started. I booked a year ahead, and Ladka explained everything clearly and helped arrange the stay from the start. By the time we arrived, everything was ready, which gave us peace of mind.

Thoddo Island is beautiful, and there’s so much lovely fruit around, including coconuts, mangoes, papayas, mangosteens, bananas, and watermelons. I also loved the trips and watersports, which let us discover what the ocean has to offer. There are private sunbeds at the beach by the ‘Amazing trips&water sporta’ spot. Thanks for helping us find parrots, Melek! Melek was kind and helpful every day, and made delicious breakfasts. They were generous portions with fruit and juice. The staff looked after all the little details, and the owner was so friendly. From the airport, someone met us and took us to the speedboat, then helped with our luggage and drove us from Thoddoo port to the hotel. They greeted us with a coconut drink, which made us feel like we were in the TV series "White Lotus" :)) Our room and balcony were spacious and kept in good shape. The bathroom was modern and practical, with a large shower. The hotel entrance was lovely, with lots of plants inside, drinking water, and a coffee and tea machine. It’s close to the beach and Thoddoo’s best restaurants. The room was cleaned daily, and towels were changed every day or every 2-3 days. I loved seeing a different bedding arrangement each day. I cried when we had to leave, which probably says it all. I’d love to come back.

The food was great at both breakfast and dinner, with fresh fruit and juice each time. I booked several excursions through the guesthouse and really recommend doing that. My room was large and fresh, with both AC and a fan, and the staff were kind and helpful. Amazing View is well placed near the village and the two tourist beaches. I felt safe and had a very good stay. I hope to see you again, I can’t wait to return. Kind regards, Marie
