Lagoon Thoddoo Villa

The room was very clean and the service was great. I’d definitely recommend staying here. The safe is very small and easy to carry off, so it should be fixed to the room. You can also change its code, which I personally recommend.

The staff were warm and attentive, and I’d love to come back. We stayed two nights with breakfast included, and the guesthouse is an easy walk from shops, cafes, and the beach. Our spacious room was on the second floor, with a balcony overlooking the grounds. There’s no lift, but the stairs were easy enough. The greenery and bright bougainvillea were especially calming, and even the bathroom had a surprisingly nice view. We rented bicycles for $5 a day, which made exploring more fun.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, they made me feel at home. I also liked being able to borrow diving gear, a bike, or a scooter to explore and have a bit of adventure. My room was spacious, cozy, and spotless, and the location was peaceful while still close to what I needed. The food was delicious, with each meal feeling lovingly prepared. It was a relaxing, memorable stay, and I hope to return soon. Highly recommend Villa Lagoons!

The villa was ideally placed near lovely beaches and local attractions, and gave us a nice balance of time to relax and things to do. The staff were warm and went out of their way to make our family trip special, arranging snorkeling and biking and sharing helpful tips for exploring the island. We enjoyed unwinding in the peaceful garden, and the clean, spacious rooms were comfortable. The food was fresh and full of flavor, especially the Maldivian breakfast. Lagoon Villa on Thoddoo Island was a great fit for our vacation, and we can’t wait to return.
