Hari was so lovely to chat with, and we had a great laugh together. He also helped arrange our excursions, get a buggy to the harbour, and make breakfast. We stayed four nights and loved it. The location was great and the room was spacious.

The guesthouse didn’t explain that we needed to arrange our own ride to the departure jetty and pay the driver separately for pickup and drop-off. When we asked, though, the host did call and book the driver for us. Service wasn’t the best, and the host seemed a bit standoffish. The room was missing some basics, including toilet paper, water and glasses, but when we asked, water and a glass were provided.

The rooms are simple and there’s no safe, but the bed was comfortable and the area felt safe. It’s a short walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants. Friendly service, and management was very helpful with boat reservations.

We spent two weeks at Surf Trip Maldives on Thulusdhoo and really enjoyed it. For the price, it’s a solid hotel option on the island, near the ocean and just a few minutes from the beach by Bench Juice Café. Hari, the on-site manager, deserves special thanks. He welcomed us, handled check-in, arranged buggies and boats, made breakfast, cleaned, and helped with whatever we needed.

The island is small enough that you can walk just about anywhere, and the location was great. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a great bed. Hari was incredibly friendly and could help arrange anything. I’d definitely stay again.
