Ganduvaru Villa

The five nights here were a wonderful experience. It was quiet, with a good atmosphere, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good quality, and the room had great air conditioning and hot water. There was also an electric kettle, tea, coffee, and a safe. It felt like one of the safest places to stay on Ukulhas. Many thanks to the Ganduvaru staff. I’ll definitely come back soon.

I was on a dive trip and stayed at Ganduvaru Villa in Ukulhas. During the stay, $1500 went missing from my room, and I noticed it after housekeeping had cleaned it. I raised the matter with staff and management right away, but received no accountability or meaningful help. I’ve since filed an official police complaint. After checking other reviews, I saw similar complaints about theft, which makes me worry this may not be isolated and raises serious concerns about internal security and possible negligence. Guests should feel secure at a hotel, not anxious about their belongings. I strongly advise future travellers against booking here.

The blue bathroom light became an unexpectedly fun part of my stay. There were three settings, white, yellow, and my favorite, blue, which made a peaceful atmosphere for unwinding or, as I discovered, an impromptu blue-light disco. YOLO, right? The fish tank was another standout, one of the brightest, most vibrant and colorful I’ve seen. 🐠🐡🪸🐚🦐 My week at Ganduvaru Villa on the charming local island of Ukulhas felt like a dream, thanks to Shifaz and his incredible team. From booking the speedboat transfer to the personal welcome when I arrived, they treated me with such care that I felt part of the family. “Ganduvaru” means “Palace,” and the stay really did make me feel like royalty. I stayed in villa 105, a very spacious room with a queen-size bed and a single bed. I slept well each night and woke ready for the day. Breakfast was brought to my balcony every morning at the time I asked for. I recommend the local Maldivian breakfasts for a nourishing, refreshing start. The immaculate villa was surrounded by greenery and beautiful local flowers. It felt safe and comfortable, like a home away from home, with exceptional service. They checked daily whether I wanted housekeeping or fresh towels, and having laundry washed and ironed was convenient. The bikini beaches are a one-minute walk away. Ganduvaru Villa gave me warmth, comfort, and local flair throughout an unforgettable stay. I couldn’t recommend this stunning palace of tranquility more to anyone wanting to discover Ukulhas Island in the Maldives. KR🌀🍉

A perfect place to stay in ukulhas. The rooms are nice, the beach is one minute away, the Maldivian breakfast is tasty, and best of all, the staff are amazing and very kind. Ps. It’s a pity there are some enormous buildings under construction on the island :(
