The fishing trip was a highlight, and we came back with plenty of fish. We also enjoyed learning about Maldivian customs and how local people see things. Mohamed, his family, and the whole crew made us feel welcome, with delicious breakfast and dinner every day. Our room was neat, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. For traditional Maldivian culture and those incredible sapphire and turquoise views around Ukulhas, Sunway is a great choice. We had an extraordinarily cozy, fantastic stay.

We saw turtles, black tip sharks, and so many kinds of fish around the house reef. Some areas have unfortunately died because of island construction, though. Ukulhas also has one of the safest and most beautiful sandy beaches. At sunway guest house, the local hospitality and friendships we made were amazing, and the team went out of their way to help us feel at home on the island and in the guest house. Night fishing was the best, especially having the catch cooked Maldivian Barbeque style. So tasty.

The location was great, and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and the warm Maldivian welcome made it feel like home. A lovely place for a quiet island getaway, highly recommended. 🌴
