I had booked The Beach Villa in Ukhulas six months ahead and even had a confirmation email, but when I arrived the hotel was full. They suggested I spend one night at another hotel and return the next day, supposedly when a room would be available. What a joke. I found somewhere else that was much more professional, and luckily some hotels still had rooms. Be careful, this hotel overbooks!

The private jet ski trip to see manta rays and turtles was an amazing experience, and we can’t wait to visit again! We really enjoyed our stay at Beach Villa Ukulhas. Chiko and his wife welcomed us and were super nice and proactive. The food was good, the rooms were clean, and the guesthouse is very well located.

A great room, almost like a bungalow, with its own garden. You’re just a few steps from the beach, and there are juice bars on site. The owner is friendly and professional. A must if you want to experience the laid-back island life in Ukulhas.

Ismail was a super friendly and helpful host, with a good attitude who responded quickly and helped us with everything we needed. Beach Villas are only a few steps from a good beach and perfectly located on the island. The room’s little private garden fits the Ukulhas feel and makes it a nice place to relax. The rooms are good by island standards, and we definitely enjoyed our time there. Recommended!

Ismail was a lovely, friendly host and made me want to come back. He booked our return speedboat tickets between the airport and Ukulhas, and quickly gave us information about shark and turtle snorkeling spots, tide times, and different excursions. During Holiday in the Maldives, life jackets were hard to find because so many locals needed them. Ismail spent more than half a day looking until he found some, which made our snorkeling safer and more enjoyable. At around 8 p.m. he’d ask us to choose from five breakfast menus, then prepare a generous breakfast for the time we wanted. You can also request room cleaning each day. It’s a wooden bungalow right in front of Bikini Beach, with lots of tropical plants that give you extra privacy. If you visit Ukulhas, stay at Beach Villa. Highly recommended! 👍✨
