A really nice hotel.

The excursion crew took great care of us. Gabbe, the water activities manager, shared her experience and explained the sights around us, while her skilled, friendly assistant Hante helped keep the speedboat trips completely safe. There were plenty of beach towels, water, and fresh fruit on board, and it was easy to get to know the other travelers. We had five outings included: a spectacular desert island trip where we swam with manta rays right by the shore and ate freshly caught fish cooked on the beach; a sandbank with brilliant white sand, blue sky and sea, corals, and hermit crabs; two snorkeling trips with lots of colorful fish and turtles; and a romantic dinner on the beach. Paddleboards, canoes, and snorkeling gear were also available for free whenever we wanted them. The staff were always smiling, helpful, and never intrusive. The days had a slow, relaxing pace, with plenty of activities to choose from. We came home from a dream holiday at My House Maldives. Shafeeq and the guest house staff even surprised our daughter with music and a lovely birthday cake on the day we left, the day after her birthday. Such attention to detail! Transfers were carefully arranged both ways. At Male airport, a representative helped us board the domestic flight. In Hanimadoo, two cars took us to the port, then a speedboat to Vashafaru Port, and a golf cart to the guest house. When we left at 4:00 AM, Shaffeeq came with us to Vashafaru Port, and I naturally gave him a grateful hug. Thank you as well to Carol, who was always available with answers and suggestions.

We didn’t stay at their place, but I’d suggest getting in touch with them for excursions. The staff are trained, attentive, and helpful. Their boat is larger than the other ones we saw, so it’s suited to bigger groups. They provide snacks on the trips and take lovely photos and videos.

I came on my own and was welcomed like a friend. They made me part of this lovely family right through to the end. If you’re traveling solo and want peace, relaxation, and a real break from everyday chaos, I highly recommend it. Thanks to all the staff for their smiles, help, patience, and understanding. I arrived alone, but I’m leaving with so many wonderful people and memories that already hold a special place in my heart.
