Arora Inn

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The area was quiet, and our room was large, clean, and nice. The lobby has water sports equipment that guests can use for free, as long as they clean it and return it afterward. A couple of things need attention: there was no clothes drying rack in the room, and the water boiler was rusty. Breakfast was repetitive, with little choice, and we had to ask for tea or coffee.

We're a group of eight from Thailand, and I want to thank the team again for making us feel at home. The male receptionists looked after us so well every day, from the first day through our last, over five days and four nights. The manager was very kind and gave me a warm welcome. Our room was small and a little old, but comfortable, with a fridge, a centrally heated shower, and a refillable water bottle. There are two locations for this hotel. The breakfast restaurant is at the other one, about 100 m away. This location is around five blocks from the pier, farther than some others, but still walkable. It's a peaceful, quiet area and we felt safe there. Khob Khun Krub.

The staff bring a lot of warmth and personal attention, and the location works well for island excursions. Arora Inn offers genuine Maldivian hospitality and good value for a budget-to-midrange stay. Rooms can be modest, and the amenities may vary, so keep that in mind.

We were treated wonderfully by the team, especially the girls, who seemed to genuinely care about our stay. Mohamed, the manager, deserves a special mention: he arranged our arrival at Fulidhoo Island despite rough seas and no boats being available, and didn't add any hidden fees. The service felt better than at any five-star hotel, including the top four hotels in the area that charge twice or three times as much, especially Kany Hotel. I felt like royalty. One of the best experiences of my life, no doubt.
