Renovations are going on at the property, but arranging scuba or snorkeling trips is quick and easy whenever you want. A dive costs 45 USD and snorkeling is 20. Payment is in hard currency or at the parallel market rate.

The peaceful scenery made this a lovely place to unwind after a long week, and we even spotted a couple of monkeys! The one snag was the gate: the guard was absent three times, so I had to get out of the car and open it myself. Having someone stationed there would make the visit even better. Still, it's a great place to go.

It's wonderfully quiet here, with no TV or Wi-Fi, just you and nature. A really unforgettable stay. The staff and owners were so kind and helpful, and there are scuba diving and other sports to do. I only wish I could've stayed longer.

The food, service, and hospitality were all fantastic, and there was a great choice on the menu. Hazel, who's a wonderful chef, told us things were going to get even better. Please keep the burger, it made number 2 on my top ten list! Hazel and her partner are doing a brilliant job here. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, and wish we'd stayed longer. We'll be back. Keep up the great work at the lodge and in the community. Give yourselves a big pat on the back. See you again soon, love Ady and Jay Delco.

A lovely green garden, clean rooms, and a well-kept beach in a secure setting. There's a beautiful Baobab tree out front, too. Room prices are 35k, 45k, and 65k kwacha. Staff service was moderate. One of the best places to stay in Cape Maclear.
