It's quiet, which is a plus, and the pool is depressing but better than having none. The bedding was clean, the fridge worked, and the room was sunny and pleasant, with good ventilation for Covid times. The other rooms I saw seemed dark, gloomy, and hot. I paid an extra 100 pesos a night for air conditioning and recommend insisting on one of the few rooms with it. On arrival, the desk man tried to put me in a low-floor room, despite my approved request for a high-floor corner room with balcony and the air-conditioning option, room #19. I had to call someone outside who spoke English, and they weren't especially supportive despite the advance approvals. Every fixture and finish was stained or pitted, and the fridge hadn't been cleaned. Service was poor. There was a desk worker with a developmental disability who couldn't speak. I'm sorry, but that made communication at a hotel very difficult and felt disrespectful to customers. There was no family around, no pizza, nothing. There are no Ubers here, and no cabs nearby at night. During the day, you'd have to hope to hail one, since they can't arrange a taxi. Other reviews are badly out of date and overstate the quality. Food options I trust are around the Zocalo and the more populated beaches, which are a better base for exploring. The nearby beaches people mention are dirty and not worth it, having seen them all. You can walk to the cliff divers at night, but the Mirador hotel itself isn't worth seeing. The public platforms are the best place to watch the divers. You still need to take a bus to Caleta or Caletilla. They're not the kind of beaches you came to Acapulco for, though they're nice for one afternoon. That same bus runs all along the Costera for 10 pesos, so you don't need to stay nearby for that experience.

They treat you wonderfully. The service was very satisfying, with just a few minor details.

It used to be cleaner, though the hotel is old. Now it smells bad and is very dirty, while the staff in charge just sit around instead of doing basic cleaning. The service and cleanliness aren't what they used to be. It's a shame about the management, because the place has potential despite its age. With more attention, a thorough cleaning, and a fresh coat of paint, it could be great.

We had a great stay with our baby, and the rooms are roomy enough for larger families. There’s a pool and a shallow pool, plus a kitchenette and fridge. Housekeeping was right on time, and we didn’t run into any mosquitoes. The location worked well, and the service was excellent. There’s no air conditioning, which was the main downside, but they provided a fan and brought us a second one when they saw we had a baby. There was a checkout issue afterward. The room doors say checkout is by noon, with an extra hour before charges apply. We left around 12:10, then found out a few days later that we’d been charged for another full day. It was disappointing, since I’d thought the place was excellent. The extra charge was resolved quickly and without conflict. I’d still consider booking again, but take care with checkout time.
