The staff were helpful and attentive, and thanks to Alondra in particular. The place is spacious and pleasant, with air conditioning indoors. I went on a Saturday around midday for breakfast and some quiet away from Monterrey. The drive takes about an hour and a half with the usual highway traffic, and the trees and birds make for a lovely welcome. The meal itself was pretty basic, with few choices. It wasn’t bad, but nothing stood out, and my chilaquiles didn’t even come with cream.

We were given a free upgrade to a deluxe room when we arrived, and it was lovely inside, with a terrace where we could relax or have lunch. The rooms are amazing, and the restaurant is beautiful, worth a visit, with delicious food, varied dinner choices, and excellent service. The staff were helpful from the moment we arrived. The packages are a little pricey, but I think a weekend here with your partner is worth experiencing. I could go on for ages recommending it. If you can, come see the place for yourself.
