Breakfast was really good, and it was included in our price. The room itself was okay, but the details got frustrating. There was no fridge for food or drinks, and the outlets were too narrow to fit two standard phone chargers. The bathroom hair dryer was mounted in a spot that clearly hadn’t been thought through, with a very short cord.

The best parts were the quiet rooms, the spacious layout, and a great view of the sunrise. Front desk and restaurant service wasn’t bad either. But this was the Holiday Inn "Full," not the Express, and the place felt mediocre. The headboards, bathrooms, and other details showed wear. Towels felt like sandpaper, and they were pretty stingy with amenities, even toilet paper. Cleanliness was poor, with dust everywhere and a bathroom that hadn’t been cleaned properly.

We usually stay here when we visit friends out Santa Fe way, and the beds are comfortable with hot water. Canarios is an enjoyable restaurant just a walk away, and it’s a great breakfast option. One safety thing, the shower is dangerously slick and there’s no non slip bath mat, so we put a towel down. Also check the soap dispensers before showering, since staff aren’t trained to check them every day. We bring a bar of soap, so it wasn’t an issue for us.

We had a delicious complimentary breakfast, and the Wi-Fi worked wonderfully. It’s a very quiet, very clean hotel, with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Everyone was great. I’d stay here again.

I had bed bugs in my room and couldn’t sleep all night. The bites left dozens of red spots all over me. Terrible experience.
