Hotel Colonial Acopinalco Inn

The rooms and facilities were nicer than I expected. Everything felt new and clean, with nice furniture, and the service was good. Definitely worth it.

The food was delicious, and the woman who served us in the restaurant was so kind and helpful. I was really grateful for her service. The hotel itself was nice and peaceful, though it was cold while I was there, so I think heating would be a good addition. ✨

Malena and Rosario were very kind and attentive at the restaurant the next day, which helped a little with my impression of the service. Before that, I had a difficult time with several staff members. When I got back from the event, receptionist Rocío was rude and indifferent when I asked about parking. She even asked for my car keys after I had already parked it. The room was clean, in good shape, not cold, and had no odors. But when I asked for food at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Ms. Edith spoke rudely and refused, saying she was leaving at 3:00. Another employee did agree to make it, and it arrived at 2:50. The whole exchange felt uncomfortable and unclear. Even so, Ms. Edith asked me for a tip for her terrible service and got upset when I declined. I chose the hotel for an event at Hacienda Chimalpa, about 30 minutes away. They suggest it because they say they provide transportation, but that never happened. No one told me the checkout time either, so I ended up going to the event on my own. The hotel didn't deliver on what it promised, and the service varied a lot. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The rooms were clean, and it was a nice enough place to rest. We were only there for an event in Zotoluca, though, and it's a bit far away. There's not much for tourists here. The manager, or whoever was in that role, was arrogant and spoke badly to the staff. She seemed disorganized and slow, and the receptionist didn't seem to know how to do anything. If that's the manager, things are already off to a bad start. The rest was more or less okay.
