I usually like Best Westerns, so I wish I’d booked the newer one in Monterrey for about the same price. The building here feels old, breakfast was very basic, and there weren’t any scrambled eggs. After driving 15 hours, I was hoping for a hot shower, but the water wasn’t very hot for $160 a night and the shower drained poorly. The pool was under construction, and they put me in a room facing it, with a door opening onto the construction site. I’d asked for a view of my vehicle, but got a room as far away from it as possible. During my stay from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m., staff seemed more focused on repeating what I couldn’t do than on hospitality. They made sure to tell me several times that smoking in the room wasn’t allowed. I must look like someone who smokes in bed.

A great choice for an overnight stay by the airport. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathrooms have been nicely updated. The shuttle was on time. We had a great experience!

The dark curtains helped me sleep a little longer, which I loved. The room was clean and it was a good place to stay, though figuring out the TV controls was a bit of a struggle.

The people working here were very nice, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was good, too. It’s convenient for the airport and reliable. If you’re a light sleeper, I’d avoid a first-floor room by the parking lot: other guests can be noisy in the hallways at night, though maybe that’s just the first floor. Bring your own phone charger, since there aren’t many outlets and the ones there don’t work very well.

Breakfast was really good and included, and the hotel was clean and close to the airport. Parking was tight, probably because the place was full. Security directed us to park sideways near the entrance, and I was glad they did. Our room was by the lobby, so it got a bit loud very early, but I’d definitely stay here again.
