The strongest downside was the smell in our room when we first arrived. It was so heavy, like perfume, that it felt suffocating. I don't know if they'd sprayed something or left an air freshener, but I had to open the window and run the fan. I'm sensitive to strong chemical smells and air fresheners, and they can give me migraines, so it was a really bad experience. After a couple of hours with the window open, the smell was much better and I could barely notice it. The bathroom is also separated from the room only by glass, which felt odd, though traveling with my husband made it less of a concern for us. Otherwise, the room was very clean, colorful, and pretty, with a cozy, welcoming feel. The bed was comfortable, and I actually liked the firm pillows. The hotel is quite close to the town center. Breakfast looked small, just coffee, a piece of sweet bread, and a big plate of fresh chopped fruit, but we felt full afterward. I also appreciated their option to clean without changing the sheets and towels to reduce environmental impact.

I had a short stay and really enjoyed it. My room was lovely, very clean, and had great attention to detail. The rooftop terrace was my favorite.

The house has a lovely, simple design, and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was huge, too. Such a beautiful hidden gem in the city, definitely worth visiting.

We'd love to come back, and my girlfriend is hoping to visit next spring. It was one of my first and best experiences with my partner. The place felt like home and was really quiet, even during a busy time like December. Our room was surprisingly comfortable and clean, and the mix of rustic and modern style gave it a special touch.
