The garden setting is beautiful and completely peaceful, and the pool was just right after a hot day of sightseeing. The rooms were adequate, while the bathroom was above average, especially the large shower. Breakfast is fresh and tasty, though it might feel slow to some. It also goes by Camino del Bosque, and it's a perfect place to unwind for a few days after being in Busy Cuernavaca. If you don't have your own transport, the frequent buses make getting into town easy, for Mex$8.

Pretty nice.

The property itself looked nice, but our reservation terms weren't followed. We had booked the whole place for a private family weekend, then on Saturday a crowd of strangers arrived for a soccer game. The meals we ordered came late, cold, and missing items. The staff tried to help but seemed overwhelmed. Our toiletries were empty, towels stained, and the supposedly clean sheets had pet hair. Nobody cleaned the room during the day, either. For what they charged, the room was nowhere near worth it. The owner, José Juan Espinosa, was rude and domineering. After we'd made arrangements months ahead, he didn't try to solve anything and told us to leave if we didn't like it. That's no way for an owner to respond.

The place badly needs maintenance and better service, and guests should be able to feel safe there. We wouldn't recommend it, especially for a wedding, and I hope the platform stops listing it because future events could be in real danger. The staff were overworked, though the night watchman and housekeepers were as attentive as they could be, and I don't blame them. My main concern was the owner of the hotel, José Juan Espinosa. He was arrogant, aggressive, and despotic, and threatened two of my guests with a gun over a light left on in the early morning. He then brought out a dog to intimidate them further. When we tried to sort it out, he said things like, "Take it or leave." Mariloly was also a terrible manager. She never had the right payments or room records.

The common areas and the room are both spacious and look nice, but that's about the only good thing I can say. The tub in the room was pretty dirty, and so were the pools. Thinking back, I never saw any cleaning staff during my stay. The food was really bad, too. Shower water kept switching from much too hot to cold and back to too hot. This place clearly needs maintenance.
