Azure Bacalar Luxury Apartments

It's a clean, Airbnb-style room with a kitchen, utensils, laundry area, fridge, TV and other basics. There is a musty smell at first, but it fades pretty quickly. The pool is small and very nice. I'd recommend having a car, since it's quite a walk otherwise.

The rooms are nice and have good equipment, and there's Wi-Fi, parking and a pool. The place is quite far from the lagoon, though. The pool lights were never switched on, and the tiles are so sharp from their poor quality that something should be done about them.

José greeted us and was very helpful, but there were problems with the place. The water stopped and nobody could fix it, one room window was broken, and there was no security. I hope they improve the service.

The rooms are roomy and practical, and the service was very good. Still, some things need attention: the towels and amenities could have been cleaner, the TVs are small, and the toilet had no water because its tank apparently wasn't working properly. The pool tiles are poor quality and a bit dangerous for kids. My son got a couple of cuts on his hands and feet from them.
