I arrived for my reservation only to find it had already been canceled. The reception staff didn't help, so I had to find another hotel. I'll never book here again, and I'll encourage everyone I know not to either. What a shame for the Hilton brand to have partners like this.

The room was clean and comfortable, and it was dog friendly. We also found plenty of parking behind the hotel for our large van and RV. There's a Starbucks in the lobby, which is a nice perk. I stay at a lot of Hiltons in the US and was glad to find the same level of service here. The employees were kind and helpful, and someone at the front desk could speak English.

The room was quiet and clean, and I enjoyed the breakfast each day. I was also glad the hotel welcomed pets. It's walkable to the beach, though not especially close. Parking is behind the hotel in a lot that looks almost abandoned. Nothing was stolen or disturbed during my stay, but the setup felt a little suspect.

The hotel is pretty and the area is nice, but the immediate surroundings are ugly and deserted, and walking there didn't feel safe. Even though the hotel accepts pets, there's no area for them, not even a small 1x1 spot. We had to walk our dog around the hotel, which wasn't pleasant. The elevators were unreliable and very slow, and one was out of order all day. We were in a rush on Monday and had been told breakfast began at 6:30 am. When we arrived, nothing had been served. They said it would take another 15 minutes, so we left with only a small piece of fruit. Apart from those problems, everything was good.

We had a serious concern about how easily people could get into our rooms. Members of our party asked for keys at different times, and staff handed them over after hearing the room number, without checking ID or even asking for the reservation name. The rooms were also in very poor shape when we finally got them at 7:30 pm. The sheets had large stains, the beds looked hastily made, and the towels had holes. We requested fresh ones while we were out, but when we returned the beds had only been remade, the sheets may have been changed but were still very dirty, and the towels were unchanged. Housekeeping seemed to take no more than 20 minutes and amounted to making beds and rolling up towels. I can't recommend this place.
