Condos Monte M

We stayed in an Airbnb here and really enjoyed it. The condo was lovely, well equipped, and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning for the hot, humid August weather. We also liked the pool and the views. The property is clean and well maintained, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The walk uphill from the street is a bit steep, but it gave us good exercise. We had no issues during our visit and would definitely come back.

The noise made this place feel far from luxurious. The construction seems cheap, and we could hear people walking overhead and neighbors talking at a normal volume through the walls. During our four-day stay, we were unlucky enough to have neighbors partying until 6am on two nights. We rented through vrbo and regretted it right away. The walls seem paper-thin, so maybe that’s just how it’s designed. We’d read another complaint about the building but ignored it. If barking poodles on patios or drunk people yelling aren’t for you, stay somewhere else and enjoy Cabo. The location seems to be the only reason it has a decent rating. Security told us the noisy group were family of the owners and that it’s an ongoing problem. Go somewhere that cares about the guest experience.

A few minutes’ walk downhill takes you to restaurants and bars. The Airbnb was stocked with what we needed, the beds were comfortable, and questions or requests got a prompt response. I’ve stayed in plenty of Airbnbs, and this one is right at the top. We’ll book it again later this year.

I had a troubling stay at montemar Luxury Residences. I felt unsafe because of serious security issues, and there were times I worried about my personal belongings. The whole situation was unsettling. I’d urge anyone thinking of staying here, especially Americans, to be cautious.
