A decent stay, but breakfast had no vegan choices, not even soy milk. The gym also closes far too early, at 16:00.

We had booked several nights but left after the first one because a strong chemical smell filled the room and hallways. It was so overpowering that my wife became physically ill, with a severe headache and nausea. There was a window, but it was sealed shut, so we couldn't get fresh air or ventilate the room. That made the situation even harder to bear. The hotel's response made things worse. The case manager kept saying it was just an “allergic reaction” instead of acknowledging the obvious air quality and cleanliness problem. We've stayed at many IHG properties and trusted the brand, but this seriously shook our confidence. Management's dismissive attitude and lack of accountability added to an already bad experience. If strong odors bother you, you value fresh air, or you expect a livable room, I'd look elsewhere.

We stayed four nights in Cabo. The hotel was very clean, and the pool was nice and uncrowded on hot, still days. Its included breakfast spread was one of the best I've had at a standard hotel. The downside is the distance from downtown. Expect an Uber each way to cost anywhere from $100 to $250MX.

Handy location, close to Costco, Walmart, and a gym, with food options in the same plaza. It was a $6 Uber ride to the Cabo marina area. Our room was clean and modern, and the staff were helpful and friendly.
