The cabins at Nexpa are the highlight for me, with loads of space, and the structure is really good too. I came with my family for a Christmas vacation. Getting there felt a little inconvenient since it’s a bit far, but arrival was straightforward: they handed us the keys. I thought the service was pretty good.

We loved the view from the hammock, the food, the pool, and the nice people. The cabana seemed clean at first, but at night its walls came alive with bugs. It really needs serious roach treatment, and the festive Cantadores could use a little more love. The bathroom drain leaked loudly, though earplugs helped us sleep. I said, “That roach I killed last night? The ants were carrying it off this morning.” He replied, “Oh, wow! The loud, bragging cat came back for the huge mouse it brought us last night.” We paid way too much for such a sleepless stay. In an update, I tried to give an honest account of both the good and bad, but the owner left retaliatory, dishonest reviews about services that were never used, and one of his five-star reviewers here did the same.
