Campeche city is terrible value for money, so I ended up in this run-down hotel next to the city centre, which was described as "affordable." The rooms on the upper floor had an unbearable smell of sewage mixed with mold. I don't know if anything can be done about it.

It's an okay hotel, and the best thing is how close it is to the inner city. The staff are friendly, and they let you leave your luggage after checkout if your flight isn't until the evening. The rooms are fine, with a small fridge and air conditioning, but the old building has a strange smell and feels damp.

The service was nice, and the rooms were clean and pleasant, though a little small. For the price, it's good value, especially with downtown so close.
