My mom, sister, and I spent a week in CDMX, and this apartment had everything we needed. The balcony gave us an amazing view across the whole city. The room was clean, the building staff were great, and shops, groceries, parks, and restaurants were all within walking distance. We felt secure throughout the stay. Check-in was easy, everything worked with a code, and Sonder staff were available around the clock through a quick chat in the app. Amazing accommodations in a perfect location. I’d happily live there long term. 10/10, highly recommend.

I stayed nine days, and this was a great home base in Mexico City. My one-bedroom apartment was clean and spacious, with plenty of dishes and utensils. Laundry and soap were available, and the staff were friendly. It’s in a quieter part of Roma, which I appreciated. If you want to be closer to the area’s best bars and restaurants, you may prefer somewhere nearer Roma Norte. I found it easy to walk around or get around by Metro Bus. My room wasn’t right on Ave Insurgentes, so it was quiet enough for me, coming from another big city.

The location is great, though loud, and the rooms look nicely furnished. But they get very hot. There’s AC only in the bedroom, none in the living room. The “balcony” isn’t really accessible to fresh air because it’s enclosed by a glass facade, and the AC generator is out there, adding more heat to the apartment. The internet was poor, not very good for calls and sometimes not even good for browsing. There’s no convenient desk for working, and no dedicated business room anywhere in the Sonder building. The only workable desk, in the bedroom with AC, is too low and bad for your back, and the AC drips. We had quite a few problems in the apartment, but service was very slow, didn’t apologize, and felt transactional and unhelpful. Everything goes through a laggy app. The lobby service desk didn’t even greet us, and they wouldn’t help open the door on our first day while we had all our luggage. Unless you only need somewhere to sleep and have AC, since it’s too hot without it, I can’t recommend this place.

There’s plenty to like nearby, and the central location is easy to explore on foot. But our apartment was only one level above busy Av. Insurgentes, so it was loud and car exhaust came inside. In the two-bedroom unit, one bedroom had no window, and there were just two windows in the whole place. The on-site staff were kind, though they couldn’t arrange cleaning or a room change. We had to handle everything ourselves online through Sonder’s system, and cleaning had to be booked a day or two ahead.
