CASA ULA - Cancun

The host is a wonderful woman and the reason I’d recommend Casa Ula. We had accidentally booked the wrong dates, but luckily ran into her when we arrived, and she helped us sort it out quickly. She made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and spacious, with a nice set of utilities. Outside the room there are a few small, comfortable spots, including the pool and lounge, just right for a relaxed afternoon. It’s a great budget-friendly find with top-tier service. We’d definitely come back :)

Rocio made us feel at home and was always there when we needed her. Casa Ula was spotless, both the room and shared spaces, and it’s a quiet place with no kids around, good for resting. There’s a kitchen, and the shower had lovely temperature and water flow. The room had A/C, a fan, and a big window. The location is faultless, with several shops close by, restaurants on the same road, and a huge shopping center nearby. Public transport is very close too. We recommend Casa Ula 100%. The owner was very willing to answer questions, which I appreciated as this was my first time in Cancun. Downtown is a huge area, and without a car you need to call Uber to get to the Hotel Zone and beach. The room was neat, but only a little bigger than the large bed. There isn’t any air circulation apart from the AC. Since it isn’t running all the time, it needs frequent cleaning to keep mold from growing inside.

I couldn't make the trip because of the recent shelter-in-place restrictions, but the property wouldn't refund me or reschedule the booking.
