Ruby's cheerful smile made me feel welcome, and she was so kind and attentive. The staff greeted me warmly every day, and the food was great.

The free shuttle and access to the sister hotel's beach club were a nice bonus. From here, I could walk to a big mall, restaurants, and convenience stores. As a VIP member I got upgraded to a penthouse, with a beautiful room and amazing views. Breakfast was tasty too, and it was good value for the price. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is large, with a swimming pool and a nice view, and sits in a quieter part of Cancun. There's a Starbucks on the ground floor, and shower gel and shampoo are provided. Staff speak some English. I wish there were chairs on the balcony so we could enjoy the view. The breakfast area is small for the number of rooms, so there's a queue. The fan from other rooms' toilets is very loud. I also asked staff to mail some postcards, but they refused.

We picked this place outside the hotel zone so we could rent bikes and explore the city. The penthouse floor and its ocean views are nice, and it has its own lounge. The pool is pleasant, but every time we went down, kids were swimming even though it was marked adults-only. The gym is okay, but inconveniently located, and the sidewalk outside the building is crumbling. Breakfast was bad. We tried it three days in a row and found most of it inedible. Getting to the beach club was possible, but not convenient: you have to plan ahead, hand over your ID, wait for a shuttle, get a wristband, and then there may be no chairs. You have to rent towels, there's no food or drink service, and the bathrooms have no showers. The whole process made us feel unappreciated, and honestly I found it obnoxious. It was also unfortunate that there was no fridge in the room. The hotel doesn't have half and half either.
