Hotel Riu Latino - Adults Only - All Inclusive

We loved how much there was to eat, and the fruit was super flavourful, so the food never got boring. Desserts were the only weak spot, though after sweet drinks all day I never felt like having any. The drinks were delicious, too. Staff were kind and helpful, always smiling, and the entertainment was 10/10. There were different shows every night and plenty of daytime activities, with the entertainment staff making sure it was fun. We took the free shuttle to the pink party at the riu caribe on Fridays, which was exciting. My boyfriend and I are both 23, and we stayed for a week. The hotel was nice and clean, the beach was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had a great time and I'd definitely come back :)

The buffet staff were a highlight. Brian at the buffet restaurant was very kind, friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and so were the other special people working there. The service was outstanding, and the staff's positive attitude and professionalism really stood out. There was a great selection of delicious food every day. Hotel Riu Latino was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The rooms were comfortable, and the beach and pool areas were excellent. We had a fantastic vacation and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable getaway.

The food was uneven. The main buffet generally had much the same food as the other restaurants. The Steakhouse wasn't great, the Asian restaurant was an okay buffet, and the Italian was pretty good. The Gourmet restaurant was good, but I had to send my steak back several times to get the right doneness. After my medium rare came out, the next two steaks were extremely blue. By the end I gave up and accepted the last one, even though it was over again. The resort was beautiful and very clean, and the drinks were good and plentiful. Entertainment was good, too. It was great being close to the beach, and the pools were great. The water slides were a lot of fun. All in all, a decent resort and a good time.

The spa speaker in the cold plunge area kept making a loud popping noise. It needs fixing because it can interrupt your relaxation. Other than that, we had no issues. The beaches were super clean, the water was crystal clear and blue, and the entertainment was decent, though it could've been a little better. This was the cleanest Riu resort we've ever visited. Housekeeping was amazing, the staff were all helpful and welcoming, the ocean views were beautiful, and the food was really good. The buffet was excellent, too. All the bathrooms stayed squeaky clean and smelled fresh. The spa massage was the standout. Niomi was incredible. I usually don't expect a truly great massage at a resort, but she changed my mind with the deep tissue treatment I wanted. It was so intense I almost wanted to yell, but I'm a big boy, so I kept it in. I even fell asleep during the massage and my facial, which my wife thought was hilarious lol. Overall, I highly recommend this resort. Great job, guys.
