The food was memorable, fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Chef Jose did a wonderful job, and every dish was delicious. The evening also felt special thanks to manager Elpido, whose kindness and care for guests really showed. Veronica greeted us so warmly that we felt at home right away. Jonathan was our waiter, and he was friendly, professional, and attentive, checking in throughout the meal. The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding, a 10/10 for us. We highly recommend the restaurant and can't wait to return. Thank you, Veronica, Jonathan, Chef Jose, and Elpido, for such a lovely visit!

The family club pool could use a change. Adults from the adults-only side came over every day, got drunk, and acted wildly around the kids swimming, even though the adult pools have their own swim-up bars. I hope Majestic makes the family club pool exclusive to its guests. We stayed at Majestic Mirage costa Mujeres June 4th-11th 2026, in the family club section, with two swim-up rooms, one by the water park and one by the main pool. Both were phenomenal. The grounds were beautiful, the rooms spacious and clean, and the service top notch. Staff at the waterpark kept the drinks coming and checked on us every few minutes. I can't remember both guys' names, but I think one was Luis. Israel at the waterpark grill was so kind and friendly, even with a line, and stayed calm and chatty. He works so hard. Our butlers, Frank and Humberto, helped with anything we needed and made sure we were comfortable. We enjoyed all the restaurants, especially the Indian and Mexican ones, which exceeded my expectations. Elipio and Omar were such friendly, incredible servers. I'll never forget this stay at the mirage, and hope we can come back someday.

The Mexican fiesta on the plaza was the best food of our whole trip, just amazing. We also loved the seaside restaurant and steakhouse, and the food across the resort was top notch. Our butler TeTe was warm and welcoming, took care of everything, and even arranged a few surprises for our graduating daughter. Jorge at the main pool, Luis at the beach, and Vicente were also wonderful people and gave great service. I've stayed at about five all-inclusives in Mexico, and this one was far and away the best for food and service.

Rinascita was a real pleasure again, with Nestor serving us and Sandy greeting us, along with the whole team, Anahi,Damian,Fany,Angel,Claudio,Miguel. Chef Miguel is a fantastic chef. I usually don't eat lobster, but his was to die for. We'd had the vegetarian pizza before and thought it was so-so; he's turned it into something great. Bravo, and thank you all!

The beach was a bright spot, with cabanas, palapas, and loungers to choose from. The water was clean and refreshing, with very little seaweed and no sargassum. But there were no fresh towels, toilets, or showers at the beach, so we had to walk back to the main pool for towels and to rinse off. Our Sky suite's layout and private pool were terrific, but the finishes were not acceptable: paint splatters on the stairs and floors, chipped pool tiles, and unfinished paintwork. Around the resort there was unfinished work and construction damage everywhere, including missing grout and concrete and paint stains. The elevator nearest our room was closed for three days while they worked on its tile surround. For a resort that had only opened in December, it had a lot of kinks to work out. We were there for four nights at the end of February for a short birthday getaway, and it felt like they should have waited until May to open. Housekeeping and minibar service were inconsistent. Most days I had to ask for water, coffee, cups, and bath mats that hadn't been replenished during the daily cleaning. When we asked our butler, we got only half the items, and he wasn't very attentive. Before a private excursion, he took our order for breakfast the next morning, but room service never arrived. Our private tour operator stopped so we could get breakfast. The butler said he'd look into it but never followed up. The butlers also didn't give us a proper tour at check-in. They left us at the buffet, saying it was closer to the lobby while our room was being prepared. We only found the Club Lounge ourselves on day three. The food was mostly pretty good. We usually had a la carte breakfast at the Italian restaurant because the buffets were backed up, poorly laid out, and had queues at the made-to-order stations. All our dinners were very good, better than I'd expected, though the staff seemed unsure of the menu and ordering felt awkward because they weren't familiar with the system. Maybe that will improve with time or more training. The resort should have taken a few more months to train the staff, butlers, housekeepers, minibar service, and waitstaff, and to finish construction. The poor quality and rush to open left damage that was inconvenient for paying guests. I wouldn't return to the Mirage or another Majestic property, and can't recommend it with options like Excellence Resorts or the Melia Paradisus Resort offering much better value and quality. One shout-out, though, to Levi the bartender. He made really good drinks and had a charismatic personality, "Que Paso Queseandos".
