Torre Sofia Cancun

Jorge, the security guard, was welcoming, opened doors for us, brought toiletries like toilet paper and trash bags when we ran out, and helped us get back in after we locked ourselves out. Licenciada Guadalupe, who runs the building, was just as kind. She shared details about activities and attractions and helped us book them. For a small extra fee, she also arranged to have our laundry washed, folded and returned. The apartment itself was spotless, with a well-equipped kitchen and a nice rooftop pool. There was plenty of room for our family of four in the two-bedroom space. The rest of the staff were courteous and professional too. Our stay at Sofia Towers was superb, and we plan to stay there again on future trips to Cancún.

I booked this property for 17 days around October 2025, but from the first night the street noise kept me from sleeping. It felt like I was trying to sleep right out on the street. The second night I was overwhelmed and had a headache. After two nights awake, I asked to move rooms and was told there wasn’t another one. In the morning I went to the office, but no one could help. I called Expedia customer service, and the property told them something different from what they’d told me. They said I could leave and get a refund, but it’s been more than 30 days and I haven’t heard from them. The noise is unbearable and customer service was very poor. I hope no one else has to go through this, so stay away, especially for a longer visit. After leaving, I went to Ehden Vacation Suite and was finally able to sleep peacefully. I’d never recommend this property.

I’ve stayed here twice, in 110 m² and 70 m² apartments. The location is okay, parking is free, and the rooms are spacious and clean. There’s a small rooftop pool, and it was empty when I was there, which made it perfect.

It felt like having my own apartment. Everything was really clean and quite new, and it was easy to get around from there.
