The mattress was very uncomfortable, with its springs clearly visible, and the room had a strong musty smell when I first walked in. The bathroom was missing a toilet seat, hand soap, and a hand towel. Neither of the two pump bottles in the shower worked, and one had bugs inside it, which was unacceptable. I also noticed at least four sinks leaking water during my stay, perhaps because the water pressure was high. From outside, the hotel looks imposing and well maintained, in line with its five-star rating. Inside, though, a number of things didn't live up to that. The hallways and interior walkways were very dim, even though there were light fixtures that seemed either not to work or to stay off all the time. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, with even Netflix buffering every 30 seconds. We booked a week ahead, but only heard at check-in that the problem had been going on for about a week. The receptionist should have told us sooner.

My room smelled of sewage throughout my stay, and there was no hot water in the rooms. What they advertise doesn't match what they actually provide. It was a terrible experience, and the price is excessive when even the most basic lodging amenities are missing.

We paid an excessive price for a place that couldn't provide basic services. The hotel is advertised as high-end, but it couldn't even guarantee water or electricity. I wouldn't recommend it under any circumstances. We had booked rooms 9 and 19 a month ahead, yet arrived at 8:00 p.m., five hours after check-in, to find they still weren't ready. Room 9 smelled unbearably of sewage. We reported it, but the owner didn't seem concerned. Someone was sent to clean, though the smell stayed for the rest of our visit. There was no hot water on any of the three days. First they blamed the solar panels, then admitted they'd run out of gas. A hotel rated “5-star” running out of gas? On our last day the power went out, and there was no emergency generator. The Wi-Fi never worked, and the TVs were useless without a connection. Service was terrible, and neither staff nor management seemed to care about guests' well-being. I don't usually write negative reviews, but this stay was a nightmare from start to finish.

The rooms look nice, but that was about all we liked. Our room had no water when we arrived; it came back after about 40 minutes, but never got hot. We couldn't get the internet to connect to our phones or the room TV. With each room having its own parking space, the place feels more like a motel, even though it's a family hotel.
