We had a perfectly quiet, safe night with our camper. The people were lovely, friendly, and helpful, and the guard dogs were lovely too. There’s a parking spot right behind reception with electricity and water. We paid 250 pesos for the night, which included a room key for hot showers and a toilet, plus use of the pool. We could also empty our tanks and fill up with water. Thank you!

It’s a really big hotel with a beautiful property and a cool bar. The staff were very friendly, the rooms clean, and the air conditioner worked great. The beds were a little stiff, but not too bad.

The setting is peaceful, between the jungle and away from the city, with a beautiful view of the Catemaco lagoon. It made for a really nice stay. I recommend this hotel for its very kind service and how clean everything is.

We stopped with our RV in January, which wasn’t an ideal time of year, and the place was dead quiet. The concrete RV lot slopes, but by Mexican standards it was good. The receptionist was helpful. The camp bathrooms were disgusting, so they let us use a hotel room to shower and take care of that.

The location is really nice, and the rooms are beautiful. There’s a good pool and also a temascal if you want a totally relaxing session. Hotel playa azul is a great place to spend your vacation.
