SCAMMERS! Hotel Oyo Colibri Check-in was supposed to be May 2 at 1 pm, with checkout on May 3 at noon. The hotel was locked, and there was nobody there to check us in. We waited outside for six hours, tried calling, and no one answered. The place looked empty and vacant. Other people were waiting outside too, and NO ONE HAS RESPONDED. I needed to shower and leave my luggage before an important event, but I never got inside and lost my money. I want a refund.

My husband paid for a reservation through the Booking.com app, but when we arrived the hotel was closed. We asked people nearby and were told it had apparently been shut for quite a while. Booking.com didn’t refund him because the booking was a Partner Offer. A very bad experience.

The location is good, and that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The place is cheap, but I’d look elsewhere. Our room had spit on the walls, stained sheets, and windows that had to be blocked with a stick so nobody could open them from outside. The blonde girl who served us that night also had a terrible attitude. I hope the owners get the place in shape, because right now it’s awful.

The mattresses weren’t very comfortable, and there was a musty smell that really needs to go. Even for just $10 pesos, I expected better hygiene. I wasn’t staying for free or borrowing something, either. :/

The rooms were clean, but they felt old and a little damp, and there was no hot water. For an undemanding person who just needs a room for the night, it’s fine. The rest was good 👍🏼
