There was no electricity in the hotel all day and night. It wasn’t a citywide outage, since the neighbors all had power, but this hotel didn’t.

It was decent value for the money. There were lots of dogs barking in the neighborhood, though.

My Booking.com profile showed the reservation as canceled from the moment I tried to book, and it never appeared in my reservations. I didn’t get a confirmation number or an email from either the app or the hotel. Even refreshing the page didn’t help. Still, the hotel charged me the next day and said their policy was no refunds. Their listing said the card wouldn’t be charged, so how can they use my information to charge me when there was no confirmed booking? Who is responsible? I registered my card, but the reservation never completed. I later booked another hotel from a different phone after reading very bad reviews about this one. The hotel’s refusal to listen or show any empathy is appalling. Their no-refund policy seems like a clever way to take advantage of customers.

The service was awful, and there weren’t enough staff. I only saw one person per shift. When we said we planned to complain, they just replied, “Go ahead and complain, it’s your right.” Our room was very bad. The water smelled, there was no hot water, and then we ran out of water altogether. There’s a pool, but it was supposedly closed for maintenance that day. Lots of families were there, so closing it then was unacceptable. Judging from the reviews, it seems it’s often closed and dirty. They also didn’t tell us something was burning in the hotel. By the time we noticed, the place was full of smoke, making it hard to breathe and get out. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. It was awful in every way.
